LVA Plan for COVID-19
As we continue to monitor developments regarding COVID-19, LVA recognizes that some of our tutors and students may be negatively affected by the impacts of this global epidemic. As always, our focus is on the safety and well-being of the communities and patrons we serve, and our thoughts are with those who have been impacted. To that end, we stand ready to work with those who have decided to stop thier in-person tutoring sessions, and we are taking the necessary steps to avoid potential disruptions to thier tutoring sessions.
We have compiled a sample of possible distance learning options that should enable you to continue the amazing work that you are doing with your students while socially distancing yourself as recommended by the CDC and the local authorities. Please coordinate with your students about which service you will be using.
While it is impossible for anyone to predict the spread of COVID-19 and fully understand its impact, it does not alter LVA’s focus on continuing to serve you and your students. LVA will continue to monitor all developments and will do its best to keep you informed as we follow library and state guidelines.
